When you walk into your home, you want to be greeted by order, warmth, and beauty. For this new home build, we designed a mudroom that delivers all three. Tall, custom flush inset cabinets in a deep, rich green create dedicated locker space for each of the kids. Inside, there is room for coats, backpacks, and the gear that comes with busy family life, all neatly hidden behind classic shaker-style doors.
Above the lockers, lift-up door cabinets add valuable enclosed storage for a variety of household items. Open cubbies above them provide additional space that adds visual interest and keeps the design feeling light. Natural white oak cabinetry frames the window and forms a comfortable bench for pulling on shoes or setting down bags. Deep drawers underneath make smart use of every inch. The checkerboard tile floor brings personality and is built to withstand muddy boots and high traffic.
This is more than a mudroom. It is a hardworking, beautiful space designed to make daily life easier while reflecting the quality and craftsmanship you expect in your home.
